I hadn't seen this before. The wording is interesting. First of all, the recognition document describes the State of Israel as a Jewish State - exactly what Israel wants the Palestinians to accept. Second, the recognition is de facto, not de jure. I think we can assume that it has become de jure after all these years but until there is a final peace treaty and agreed final borders, maybe there is
