Une carte française

Now that you have learned the words for French food,
you can design your own menu for an imaginary French
restaurant or café! You will have one class period in the
library and several nights at home to complete this
project, and it will count as a test grade. Here are the
components you must include:
• A title in French (can be as simple as “Chez
Yourname”)
• Restaurant hours
• At least 9 entrées or main dishes with prices
• At least 4 side dishes with prices
• At least 3 desserts with prices
• At least 5 beverages with prices
• All food and drink must have “un/une/des” in front of
it
• An indication of how much tip is included in the bill
Use your textbook to find the words you are looking for.
Here is how you will be graded:
• Inclusion of all components (50%)
• Words spelled correctly (refer to your text!) (10%)
• Correct use of “un/une/des” (20%)
• Food categorized correctly (20%)
