Know all men by these presents that we Calvin C Parks [and] Harriet Parks husband and wife of
Auburn Oakland County Territory of Michigan in consideration of one thousand and five hun[dred]
Dollars to us paid by Henry H Panton of the City of New York the receipt whereof we do hereby
acknowledge do by these presents give g[rant] bargain sell and convey unto the said Henry H Panton his
heir and a[ssigns] a certain parcel of Land situate in said village of Auburn Oak[land] County Mich Tr.
bounded and described as follows to wit being [?] by the plat of said village duly Executed & Recorded
as village Lot number forty five (45) with the buildings thereon situate. Tog[ether] with all the privileges
and appurtenances to the said Land in any [wise] appertaining and belonging. To have and to hold the
above granted p[remises] to the said Henry H. Panton his heirs and assigns to his and t[heir] use and
behoof forever. and we the said Calvin C. & Harriet Parks for ourselves our heirs Executors and
administrators do covenant w[ith] the said Henry H Panton his heirs and assigns that we are lawfully
seized in fee of the aforegranted premises that they a[re] free from all incumbrances that have good right
to sell and con[vey] the same to the said Henry H Panton as aforesaid and that we [will] and our heirs
Executors & administrators shall warrant and def[end] the same to the said Henry H. Panton his heirs and
assigns fore[ver] against the lawful demands of all persons. In testimony whe[reof] we have hereunto set
our hands and seals this second day of May i[n] the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and Thirty five

Oakland County } ss. Be it remembered that on this the [2d] day of May in the year of our Lord
one thousand Eight hundred and thirty five personally appeared before me the undersigned J[ustice] of
the peace in and for said County Calvin C. Parks and Har[riet] his wife and severally acknowledged that
they Executed the wit[hin] deed for the use and purposes therein mentioned and the said Ha[rriet] Parks
being by me Examined separate and apart from her said husband acknowledged that she Executed the
same with[out] any fear or compulsion of her said husband.
