WHEREAS, the Board and the eligible school administrators (participants) desire to enter awritten agreement regarding the salaries and fringe benefits as provided in §1164 of thePennsylvania Public School Code of 1949, as amendedNOW THEREFORE, the Board and the participants agree as follows:1.
TERM OF AGREEMENT:The term of Agreement shall begin on July 1, 2007, and shall continue in effect until June 30, 2009. Salaries of Act 93 positions shall be established for the period of July1 through June 30 of each year.2.
POSITIONS INCLUDED:For the purposes of this Agreement, the positions included shall be thosespecifically addressed by Section 1164 and any additional positions that the Boardmay, from time to time, deem appropriate. Board decisions regarding theapplicability of this Agreement and participant determination may be subjects of “Meet and Discuss” sessions with representatives of the Act 93 participants at theirrequest. Positions covered by this agreement are listed below:
Director of Athletics and Student Activities
Director of Curriculum and Technology
Director of Pupil Services
High School Principal
Assistant High School Principals
Middle School Principal
Assistant Middle School Principal
Elementary School Principals
Assistant Business Administrator
Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds
Assistant Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds
Supervisor of Transportation
Supervisor of Food Service (10 month position)

3. SALARIES:Salaries for positions shall be determined in accordance with the followingguidelines and shall remain in effect until revisions have been approved by theBoard.3.1.
The amount of the salary increase for each of the school years during theterm of this agreement will be established by calculating a total of 4.0%increase on the current participant’s compensation. Any equity increasesneeded to provide parity with similar positions within Lehigh County districtswill be deducted from the calculated total salary increase for all positionsexcept those approved by separate Board action. The remaining salaryincrease amount will be converted to a percentage and distributed to theparticipants utilizing a percentage of County average for the years of service.The years of service percentage and distribution of equity adjustments will bemade in accordance with the District’s established practices as summarizedby the tables below:

Administrative Compensation Plan
Act 93
VACATIONAll twelve month participants shall be entitled to twenty (20) vacation days peryear if they have completed one (1) full year of school service as of the first July 1, following their employment. A school year is defined as July 1 through June 30 for all 12 month participants and September 1 through August 31 forall 10 month participants. Every new participant will be hired on a two fullmonth probationary period, in which time no vacation days are accrued. Forevery month worked after the initial two months, two vacation days areearned.Days earned and taken in the first year of employment will be charged againstthe second year’s vacation day balance. The balance to be carried forward forposting as of July 1. Subsequent years will be credited with 1.67 vacation daysper month. Ten month Participants shall be entitled to five (5) vacation daysafter one full school year of service.4.1a. Each participant who has earned a full vacation entitlement will beencouraged to use a minimum of a two-week block of uninterruptedvacation or two one-week blocks of uninterrupted vacation during thesummer months.4.1b. Vacation days may not be accumulated and carried forward. Unusedvacation days will be converted to sick days on June 30 of each year. Aparticipant, after having completed five (5) full years of service in anadministrative position, is eligible to save up to a maximum of five (5)unused vacation days per year to a maximum overall limit of 30 to becredited to an “End of Employment Bank.” These saved days would bereimbursable at the participant’s per diem rate the last pay date in Juneof the year he/she leaves the district. Those unused vacation days inexcess of five (5) per year or 30 cumulative banked days will continueto be translated into sick leave.4.1c. Participants are not entitled to pay in lieu of earned vacation, except asprovided in 4.1b. However, qualifying departing Participants areentitled to pay for all unused/earned vacation days.
