When recruiting students, we emphasize that KTH is an investment or lie. The graduates and uture alumnio KTH will be able to select among a large number o attractive employments, in course o their proessionalcareers. The labour market is located both inside and outside o the academic world, in Sweden, as well asabroad. The new degree structure, in accordance with the Bologna process, will give them access to a muchwider labour market than beore. In every way, the KTH graduates belong to the rst genuine global generation.As KTH accounts or one third o Sweden’s engineering education and research, we can ofer opportunitiesover a broad spectrum – rom natural sciences and all branches o engineering, to architecture, economicsand management. The programmes at KTH lead to a range o degrees at undergraduate, graduate and research level. Ourstudents will be guided by highly qualied and experienced teachers and researchers. They will also beenlightened by representatives or their uture employers as guest teachers and providers o inormationon job opportunities.
Our international environment
Our international environment or education receives almost as many students rom abroad, as Swedishstudents every year. Today, there are just over 12 000 undergraduate students, more than 1 400 active post-graduate students and 2 800 employees at KTH. In total, the same population size as any Swedish small town.
Deepening the knowledge o our graduates
KTH has been providing industry and society, as well as universities and university colleges, with well-edu-cated employees since 1827. In this aim, KTH is striving to adjust the structure and content o education tocurrent and uture demands in the job market.For this reason we are deepening our knowledge o the process o labour market entry o our graduates.We believe we all can benet rom knowing more o the early careers o KTH graduates. This report is theresult o our investigations o the graduates o 2004 and 2005.
