Course Description
: Theory building and empirical testing of the factors shaping theidentification, evaluation, and exploitation of opportunities; creation of new organizations; andnurturing their growth and development.
Objectives/Values
:At the end of the course, the students are expected to accomplish the following:1. know the major theoretical breakthroughs and controversies in the fieldof entrepreneurship theory and research;2. understand and apply research methodologies that have been used or arerecommended to be used by empirical studies in this area;3. determine and explain the linkages between the theory and practice of entrepreneurship in developed and developing economies.4. conduct empirical research on the theory and practices of entrepreneurship which can further be pursued as a possible dissertationtopic.
