Pack
17-20th June 2010
Welcome
Dear Participant,
Firstly, we would like to thank you for entering the Pink Ribbon Tournament. It will be the first
tournament to be held at the South West Snooker Academy and we have been overwhelmed by the
level of support.
There are three main aims for the Pink Ribbon. Firstly, we are raising money for breast cancer
charities and I am sure you all agree with me that this is a very worthy cause. Secondly, we hope that
through this tournament we may be able to promote more awareness of the disease and, most
importantly, educate people of the warning signs in an attempt to ensure that more people catch the
disease at an early stage. Thirdly, we want everyone involved to have fun!
By paying your entrance fee you have already ensured we are on course to raise much needed funds
for breast cancer charities. The very fact that you are participating has meant that the tournament can
go ahead and therefore work towards raising awareness. With the first two aims on course to being
fulfilled, all that is left now is to have fun and we hope each and every one of you will enjoy the
tournament.
This welcome pack will give you more details regarding the tournament and should answer any
questions you may have. There will be contact details inside in case your question is not answered
within this document.
Regards
Paul Mount

Spectator Tickets
Spectator tickets are available for purchase on Ticketweb at the following link:
BUY TICKETS
Each player will be permitted one free spectator ticket as well as their players pass. If any player
requires additional spectator tickets they will need to be purchased via Ticketweb at the link above.
We are selling spectator tickets for two reasons. Firstly, in order to maximise the money we can raise
for breast cancer charities. Secondly, we need to keep track on the number of people in the academy
at any one time due to health and safety restrictions. By selling tickets in advance we can ensure that
anyone who travels to support a player will be guaranteed entry into the Academy. We have kept the
prices for tickets low, especially considering the standard of players who will be taking part in the
tournament. Tickets will be available to buy on the day but will be on a strictly first come, first served
basis.
Next door to the Holiday Inn Hotel is a pub called The BumbleBee which serves hot food throughout
the day and evening.
The Premier Inn are offering rooms for £55 during the week and £50 for the weekend. If you are
interested in booking a room with the Premier Inn then you can book by email to the following

Commemorative
T-Shirt
As a memento of the first Pink Ribbon Tournament we will be selling commemorative T-Shirts. Each
T-Shirt will have the names of everyone involved in the tournament printed on the reverse of the
shirt. We have opted for white T-Shirts to enable people to get them signed by the professional
players taking part in the tournament. Below is a sample design of what the T-Shirt will look like:
*Please note that the final design may differ slightly and that this initial version includes only a
sample of the names of those involved in the tournament.
Each T-Shirt will cost £15 and will be made to order due to the uniqueness of the product. Therefore
we will be taking pre-orders which will be ready for collection at the Academy during the
tournament.
NOTE - These T-shirts will NOT be available to buy at the event.
The next page is an order form for the T-Shirt. If you are interested in purchasing a T-Shirt, please
