What Conditions Co-ExistWith ADHD?
 TheAttention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorderis one of the common disorders that arecommonly developed in children. Those who are affected may have multipleimpaired functioning at home, in relationships and at school. If left untreated, thecondition may have long-term difficult effects into adulthood stage. Mostly thesymptoms are:
impulsiveness
in which a child acts quickly without thinking,
hyperactivity
in which a child cannot sit still and prefers to run and climb aroundwhen other people are sitting still and
inattention
in which a child daydreams anddoes not pay full attention when someone is talking to him. The ADHD condition may be one of the traits that are found in humans. It is adevelopmental disorder that range from 3 to 5 years of age. Children with ADHDmay have other conditions or illnesses aside from the ADHD itself. There areconditions that may co-exist with ADHD. These are:
Oppositional defiant disorder
- children with this kind of condition arerebellious or stubborn and often times they argue with adults and refuse toobey. They also annoy others and blame others for all that goes wrong.
A learning disability
- a child with this clause may have difficulty inunderstanding certain words or sounds or have trouble expressing throughwords. They may also struggle with spelling, writing, math and reading. It isoften determined and identified by school psychologists through academicachievement testing, social interaction aptitude and intelligence testing.
- people who are affected with this experienceextreme fear and dread emotional distress and a tendency to avoidsituations.
Conduct disorder
- the child may steal, lie, fight or bully others. Also, he orshe may break into homes, carry or use weapons and may destroy property. These children may use illegal drugs and substances. They may have troublewith the police or at school.
Bipolar Disorder
-children have extreme mood swings in a short period of time. They experience abnormally elevated and abnormally depressed statesfor certain periods of time.
Tourette syndrome
- among those who have this disorder, they havenervous tics and repetitive mannerisms like eye blinks, grimacing, and facialtwitches. It is an inherited neuropsychiatric disorder. It starts in childhood and
