This is a classic isometrics manual. Once considered antiquated, isometric exercises and the equipment used have enjoyed a surge in popularity because isometrics can be used to build strength, power, speed, and/or muscle tone.

Personally I've used isometrics intensely for the last 6 months and I've dramatically increased my physical strength, running speed and standing vertical jumping height using isometrics as a 40 year old.
