The correct way o running-in newly installed brake pads is the prerequisite or their long lietime and or a reliablebraking eect o the bike brakes. I possible, do not provide your motorbike with new brake wheels during running-in new brake pads.Cleaning o the brake wheels using abrasive paper is recommended in case o their previous use with another liningmaterial. Ater the installation o the brake pads, their ftting must be ree and without excessive clamping in thebrake mount.Having revved up your bike, brake several times at lower speeds to achieve a contact surace o 80 to 90 per cent o the total area o the active brake pad surace between the brake wheel and the pads. Then brake the bike severaltimes at higher speeds and allow the brake pad lining to get cooled while driving. Ater this running-in procedure,the brake pads may be normally used.
• Verify the correct selection of the brake pads at the dealer‘s in accordance with the bike type and manufacturing

• Replace the brake pads as soon as the braking surface thickness has dropped below 2 mm.• Protect the brake pad surfaces against grease, oil and other chemical substances.• Clean and degrease the brake wheels prior to installation of new brake pads.• Replace damaged brake wheels reducing the braking eect and, at the same time, shortening the lifetime of the
