Beginning in 1982, Vallhonrat became a regular contributor to

In 1992 he broadened his interest in photography and began creatingadvertising films while on the side teaching photography at the CuencaSchool of Fine Arts (1997)
Today, while continuing his contribution of photos for French Vogue,Italian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Mixte, Big, among others, Javier alsoteaches creative photography in various universities in Spain. Javier Vallhonrat resides in Madrid; his personal work can be regularly seen inexpositions all over the world.
Vallhonrat has won numerous prizes for his work, including the Silver Award from

and the seventy-sixth annualAmerican Art Director¶s Club Awards.
