Activities
:Devotionals, games worship, hiking, swimming, volleyball, etc.
Schedule
:Breakfast, devotionals, free time, activities, dinner followed by chapel.
Supplies
:Make sure to bring along a tent, sleeping bag, appropriate clothes, bug spray, sunblock etc. Remember to be prepared for all weather conditions. Breakfast anddinner will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks and drinks for lunch. If youare not sure about what you’ll need, we’re glad to answer any questions!
Rules
:
1)
Guys and girls should sleep in separate tents. No exceptions.
2)
This is not the opportunity for couples or crushes to be spending alone timetogether. Our regular standards of affection-less behavior between boys and girlscontinues at camp. Save it for marriage!
3)
No leaving camp unless approved by a youth worker. Also, individual arrivaland departure dates should be made known to camp organizers ahead of time.
4)
Quiet time begins at 1am and ends at 9am. This doesn’t mean you have to goto sleep, but if you want to stay up you have to do it around the fire.
5)
Small-group devotionals will be held each day before noon and will be led byyour small group leader. We will also share in worship and a short message eachevening after dinner.
6)
Girls and guys are expected to wear modest and appropriate clothing, especiallyswimwear. If a youth worker feels your clothing is immodest, you will be requiredto change. Girls swimwear should be reserved for the beach.
7)
Park rules are to be obeyed without exception. Things like fireworks andfirearms are not allowed. Fines are your personal responsibility to pay.
Consequences
: Youth workers will give a first warning for misbehavior. The second warning canresult in being required to leave the camp. Warnings will be brought to theattention of parents and church leaders.
