I am respectfully submitting my credentials for consideration of the appointment by you, Alderman of the 29" Ward. Thave lived in the ward for over 20 years. I have participated in numerous community and civic activities at all levels, some reflected in my resume which is attached, 1 know without a doubt that I have the heart of a Public Servant. I know I am fit and ready to serve in this public office. As a mother of three, my daughters, as T were raised in an environment where public service and civic involvement was an important Component in our lives, essential to becoming a whole person. ‘The residents of the 29" ward need a new Leader that will bring continuity to the ward AA Leader that understands and respects the value of government and making it work for ihe People. A Leader that wll bring people to the table for the benefit of working ‘ogether, to restore trust, to listen and to be that voice in the Council on their behalf Certainly, the residents of the 29" ward need a Leader that will provide the transparency S0 desperately needed to restore pride and confidence in our elected officials.
