Description

Sample interactive data reports from datagoodies. This Word document illustrates interactive reports (in Excel) of interest to K-12 staff. The user, who has no need to understand computers, enters information such as school number and grade to automatically display data for the specified grouping.
These computerized reports also feature hyperlinks for quick e-mails to principals and other administrators associated with the selected school. Hyperlinks also connect the user to state websites featuring additional results for the selected school.
Problem areas or outlier statistics are highlighted in red enabling administrators a quick reference to school issues.
Other forms invite the user to "filter" data by a number of variables to produce screens showing specific subsets of students and summary information for the group. For example, a screen with summary data can be produced for African American males new to the school and compare to results produced for African American males who attended the same school during the previous year.
available.
All data is fictional and does not reflect any actual district or school.
