. What are your reasons for running for office?
I am running for office because I am ashamed that my kids will livein a Michiganand America that is less free and allows them to keep fewer fruits of their own labor 
 
than I experienced at their age. I will work to change it. I amrunning to cut taxes,reduce government, and increase our liberties

If I may, I would like to say that I am forty-three years old and havenever been agovernment employee. I have always been a Republican, but I will fight those in my  party that are merely time-servers in Lansing and government. Weneed to return tothe spirit of our country’s Founders, The Declaration, and TheConstitution. I amdisturbed and angered by our continued loss of freedoms, and knowthis is the right time to run for office, to win, and to defeat this creeping socialism,this overturning of our government’s very fabric, this Obamanation. I’m running to help protect our 
future as a free country and our birthrights as Americans.

The federal government should take care of national issues, thestate government should take care of state issues, and local governments should takeof local issues.
