1. What are your reasons for running for office?

I am running for office because I am ashamed that my kids will live

in a Michigan
and America that is less free and allows them to keep fewer fruits of
their own labor
than I experienced at their age. I will work to change it. I am
running to cut taxes,
reduce government, and increase our liberties.

If I may, I would like to say that I am forty-three years old and have
never been a
government employee. I have always been a Republican, but I will
fight those in my
party that are merely time-servers in Lansing and government. We
need to return to
the spirit of our country’s Founders, The Declaration, and The
Constitution. I am
disturbed and angered by our continued loss of freedoms, and know
this is the right
time to run for office, to win, and to defeat this creeping socialism,
this overturning of
our government’s very fabric, this Obamanation. I’m running to help
protect our
future as a free country and our birthrights as Americans.

10. What is your definition of limited government?

The federal government should take care of national issues, the

state government
should take care of state issues, and local governments should take
of local issues. I
believe this is a fundamental principle of our government’s
founders. In other words,
if some county in California wants to increase taxes to widen a local
road or provide
sex-change operations for its employees, it’s not any concern of the
other 49 states,
until that California county relies on federal funding, including
those originating from
Michigan funds, to cover other holes in their budget.
