Busa plateau

Introduction

The aim of this report is to give information of a location suitable for films that
need natural unspoilt sceneries.

Description of the location

Busa is situated at a height of 1526 metres above de sea level, near the
snowline in winter. It is in the heart of pre-Pyrenees region. The plateau is
surrounded by cliffs and it is a magnificent view point of Port of Comte and
Serra Del verd mountains.
In a 20 minute walk there is the Capolatell which is a separate cliff from the
plateau and was used as a natural prison during Napoleons war.
In the valley that lays to the North of the cliffs there is Sant Lloren de Morunys
a cosy mountain village.
The South part of the area has St. Pere de Graudescales monastery, a
Romanesque building from the 11th with Lombard arches and a bridge built in
the same period. Nearby there is a water reservoir at the Llosa del cavall with
fantastic nature sceneries.

Facilities

Solsona, is the nearest city. It has three hotels and a good number of
restaurants. It is 45 km from Manresa and has good road connections.
The road that leads to Busa is narrow but with asphalt pavement. There is
running water and electricity supply in the farm houses spread along the
plateau.
The International airports in Catalonia are placed in Barcelona, Girona and
Lleida.

Conclusion

I would recommend Busa because it is one of the most beautiful and unknown
places in Catalonia.
