(Standard 20 Block Freeze-Thaw)The Scientemp Freeze-Thaw Machine complies with ASTM C666 specifications,Procedure A and B, which test for resistance of concrete to rapid freezing and thawing. Itis ideal for large-scale quality testing of concrete aggregates as well as research anddevelopment programs for various concrete additives.The standard models offer a high quality Allen Bradley programmable controland touch-screen interface, network connectivity, and an independent flash memory cardslot for digital logging of data. It can be operated in manual mode or automatic mode andhas a programmable time and temperature profile that has many capabilities to meetvarious needs of the user. The standard models also offer factory connectivity for aVirtual Private Network for factory based technical support, system monitoring,troubleshooting and program downloading of applications. (Service contract required forfactory technical support after warranty period).
 
This high quality machine features: 304 stainless steel work surfaces, internalchamber, lid liner, and specimen racks. The external cabinet is constructed of weldedsteel with a durable powder-coated finish. The cabinet chamber is insulated with 4” of urethane foam. The evaporator tubes are high quality, brazed-finned tubing. Therefrigeration system utilizes an air-cooled or water-cooled condensing unit as specifiedby the customer. Circulating fans in the lid provide uniform air temperature throughoutthe chamber. The lid operates with an electric linear actuator for safe and easy operation.Larger capacity models feature forklift channels for easy installation.(Standard 20 Block Freeze-Thaw)The standard models are controlled with an emergency stop button and a touchscreen user interface. The touch screen has several displays that allow the user to selectoperating modes, program time and temperature profiles, operate the equipment, view thestatus of alarms and alarm history, view status of equipment and logic functions, andnavigate through the displays.
