Dear Parents / Carers of Year 10 and 11 Pupils,

GCSE Subject Leaders have begun to recommend revision materials for Year 10/11
students. I have taken the liberty of compiling these recommendations into this
letter and they can be found in the table below.

All GCSE students will get an in-house revision guide, with
History plans and full answers. Websites worth using for GCSE are
http://www.johndclare.net/ and the BBC bitesize site.
MathsWatch is a CD-ROM containing revision clips of all the
main topics in the GCSE maths course. There are two versions
of MathsWatch:-
Higher 140 clips A* D
Foundation 134 clips C G
Maths Each topic is introduced by a presentation of basic techniques,
followed by practice questions, and then a demonstration of
harder examples. Sample clips are available to view on the
MathsWatch website.
MathsWatch costs 2.60. If you would like to purchase a copy

highly recommend purchasing the appropriate guide and using the materials listed
in this letter as they have been listed specifically for their relevance to the courses
your son / daughter is taking. If you require further advice on revision, then please
