Jedi lol..speak about things you know something about.. Peter and Paul started Christianity because Jesus told them too..Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life..Islam came about some 400 years later..Note the LATER part..and they see Jesus as a Prophet because they didnt want to acknowledge the fact that Christianity is the one true Faith. The Jews didnt want to Acknowledge Christ as the Savior because he didnt create a political kingdom on earth to relieve them of all pain (i.e. It wasnt good enough for them, and it didnt give them materialistic happiness). So, to follow Jesus you have to be a Christian because CHRISTIANITY is JESUS. Masquerading around in any other context is just dancing around the fact that you know the truth, but don't feel like following it.

This passage is actually not Christianity but is masquerading as it. Jesus taught grace and forgiveness of sins. The Gospel (Good News) is that there is now freedom from the law that was handed down to the Isrealites. Of course Jesus kept the law as he was a Jew and being God perfect, but the Jews were never able to keep the law because they were not perfect. Why would God send Jesus to continue a practice that had never worked with the Isrealites and then expect it to work with the rest of the world?

@Jedi Ninja - Actually Peter and Paul started Christianity - Jesus never did. Other religions also follow Jesus' teachings.

Then you should see a problem because what they teach is blasphemous Judaism or legalism. They are anti-Christs. I warn you and suggest you do a study of the book of Galatians where Paul warns the members of that group of believers not to be deceived by Judaisers. He calls them foolish just to get their attention. If you begin to try to attain salvation by keeping The Law then you must keep every part of it and if you fail in one part then you fail completely. This includes the dietary laws, circumcision and even the wearing of mixed cloths on your back. Are you ready to embark on this life of spiritual slavery and bondage!? I hope not.

yes2faith, I agree, especially about the Old Covenant. The church that produced this and many other documents I've uploaded still follows many of the Old Covenant traditions, and I see no problem in this, but according to the apostle Paul, it is not necessary for salvation.
