Biografia Terry Riley

Terry Riley (Colfax, California, 24 giugno 1935 ) è un musicista e compositore statunitense.

Noto per essere stato tra i fondatori del movimento minimalista, il suo brano IN C composto nel 1964 è considerato da molti
il primo lavoro del minimalismo musicale americano, corrente artistica cui aderirono compositori come Steve Reich, Philip
Glass, John Adams e gruppi rock come The Who, Tangerine Dream ecc.
