The brachial plexus is formed by the union of theanterior primary divisions (ventral rami) of the fifththrough eighth cervical nerves ( C5,C6,C7,C8 ) andfirst thoracic (T1) nerve, with variable contributionsfrom C4 and T2.

It consists of roots, trunks, divisions, cordsandterminal branches.
