The year 1956 was the historical starting point for PT.
Maskapai Pelayaran Pulau Laut when it started to provide
sea, river transportation service. Pulau Laut business ex-
panded rapidly in two decades, and the company now have
and operate a number of Indonesian flag ships.
We achieved good results for our hard work, thanks to
three basic conditions we have always hold on to for win-
ning todays business competition, i.e. :

We fully understand that the most important factors in
the business of goods delivery are reliable carriers, inde-
pendent, rapid, direct, effective and worldwide handling of
service to meet customers requirements.
With regard to the above, we have experiences in pro-
viding delivery services since 1956 with give us a reputation
for satisfying most of our customers using our assistance
and networks, due to the capabilities of our experienced hu-
man resources both onshore and offshore who under-
stand the customers needs and requirements

an established network used for shipping cargoes
throughout Asia, and it continues to expand the
network to meet the global demand of its custom-
ers. We have some experiences in serving main
line shipping operators through joint ventures,
agencies and representations.

Samarinda and other Indonesian main ports
regulary.

for numerous foreign shipping line.
