Career background :-
Dr John Richer is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, and heads the
Department of Paediatric Psychology at the John Radcliffe Hospital
in Oxford. He has worked with autistic children for over 30 years, and
is today known internationally for his work in this field. He was an early
advocate of the connection between diet and autism.

He has been Hon Secretary of the Association for Child Psychology
and Psychiatry (web site) and Chairman and Secretary of the Oxford
Branch of the Society. He was Assistant Secretary General of the
International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and
Allied Professions (web site) and on the Editorial Board of an
international scientific journal, 'Evolution & Human Behavior'.
