To create a breakthrough, three things have to happen. You have to
change our ocus
know what you want. Where is your focus? Then you have to
nd a strategy
that gets youthere. And you’ve got to
eliminate inner conicts
that are making you not follow through.Breakthroughs are paradigm shifts that include:• A change of one wa
y of thinking to another. It’s a revolution, a transformation, ametamorphosis. It just does not happen, but rather it is driven by agents of change.
• An adjustm
ent in thinking that
comes about as the result of new discoveries, inventionsor real world experiences.• A su
dden change in perception.
• A fundam
ental change in
an individual’s or society’s view of how things work in theworld.
Once the breakthrough process begins, it’s like a chemical reaction. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Here is how it progresses from start to nish.
THE CHEmISTRy Of TRANSfORmATION
You have to be satiated. You don’t necessarily have to have a problem. It could be you’retired of a relationship, a job or even doing the same thing. Have your favorite meal vetimes per day for weeks and weeks, and it will no longer be your favorite meal. There is apoint of satiation. For some it takes 10 years, for others it takes 10 weeks or 10 minutes.
This comes when your present approach to things creates a consequence that gives you a
sense of missing out or losing one or more or your 6 Human Needs—Certainty/Comfort,
Uncertainty/Variety, Signicance, Connection/Love, Growth, Contribution.

(3) A combination of satiation and seeing there is another approach that couldprovide more of the 6 Human Needs and that the current approach is no longerenough.
