In fact, this is justone of several potential taxdebates over the nextseveral months, with theexpiration of the2001/2003 tax cuts andstimulus tax provisionsscheduled for year end,proposed and recentlyenacted corporate taxproposals, and thepossibility of some form of consumption tax on energyor, in the longer term, abroader value added tax.There is little possibility of changes for 2010, apartfrom the expiration of some stimulus-relatedprovisions, but tax rates in2011 are almost sure torise on higher incomes aswell as capital income.
