Job Profile :
Overall responsibility of business development with profitability, volume and creditcontrol.
Management of staff (15 branches & sales) and monitor all the activities of branches.
Responsible for Zone Sales Target and identifying and fixing the same for each andevery branch and closely monitors their effort towards achievement of target.
Create unique and flexible supply chain solutions to fulfill customer requirements
Pricing strategy as per total logistics cost, market driven rates competition and valueaddition.
Minimizing revenue leakage in terms of weight loss, claims, misappropriations etc.
Planning for effective and efficient distribution system.
Decisions on in-bound and out-bound logistics, distributions network design,transportation mode choice, vehicle routings, material handling and warehouseoperation.
Liasioning with key logistics actors like route vendors, rail and air authority,warehouse providers, freight forwarders and terminal operators.
Observing the trends in the market and collecting relevant market intelligence aboutcompetitors, customers and industry.
Setting the bench marks for customer oriented service level for all the branches andthereby evaluating the set standards through monthly MIS reports.
Planning, executing and monitoring various promotional activities and participating invarious publicity programmes for/on behalf of the organization.
