• Titles are generally
nouns
or
noun phrases

About the effects of the wild).• Titles should be short—preferably fewer than ten words.• The initial letter of a title is capitalized (except in very rare cases, such as
eBay). Otherwise, capitalletters are used only where they would be used in a normal sentence (Funding of UNESCOprojects, not
Funding of UNESCO Projects).• Do not use
a,
an, or
the
as the first word (Economy of the Second Empire, not
The economy of theSecond Empire), unless by convention it is an inseparable part of a name (The Hague).• Avoid special characters such as the slash (/), plus sign (+), braces ({ }), and square brackets ([ ]);use

instead of an ampersand (&), unless the ampersand is an accepted part of a name(Emerson, Lake & Palmer).

SECTION HEADINGS
• Headings provide an overview in the table of contents and allow readers to navigatethrough the text more easily.• Should NOT explicitly refer to the subject of the article (ie. "Early life"
is preferable to "His earlylife"
when
his
refers to the subject of the article).• Capitalize the first letter of the first word and any proper nouns in headings, but leave the rest inlower case (ie.
Rules and regulations, not
Rules and Regulations).• Avoid special characters such as the slash (/), plus sign (+), braces ({ }), and square brackets ([ ]);use

instead of an ampersand (&).•Should be unique within the page / Should NOT contain links.
