Early Intervention Program (EIP)
EarlyInterventionProgramsaredesignedtoenhancethedevelopmentofinfantsandtoddlers(birthto 3 years of age), who are at-risk of delay in acquiring developmental milestones, due to thepresenceofconditionssuchas:These programs provide opportunities for nurturing and playful interactions which promotecognitive, speech, language, motor, social, and self-help skills. Our Early Intervention Programspecifically includes PT, OT, Oral-Motor Therapy, and a reading program based on the teachings of Glenn Doman. We believe that for any therapy to work effectively, it must be done with theappropriate intensity, frequency, and duration in addressing the needs of the young client. Wetherefore provide home exercise to reinforce and to hasten habilitation for recovery. Parent andfamily commitment is therefore necessary in successfully addressing the developmental problemsoftheinvolvedchild.Theprimarycareprovidermustnotlosesightofthegoalsthatwillleadtothechild'spersonalindependenceandsocialresponsibility.OurEIPlastsaminimumof3monthswhereimprovementsarenotedandsucceedinggoalsareidentified.
