Vampire High-Chapter Two

I take a deep breath and walk towards the building. Ivy clung
to the walls colouring it green. Huge grass lawns circled the
school. Five stories high this building would be one of the
wonders of the world… if humans knew about it.
Other vampires ran around the grounds with their friends. I
was a bit of a loner, so had no friends. I heard a sudden yelp
from behind me. I turned to see another vampire lying on her
ass.
She had long brown hair and sparkling crimson eyes. Her
dark skin had specks of dirt on it.
“Are you all right?” I asked her as I helped her to her feet.
“Yeah I’m fine thanks” she said “But I got dirt on my new
jeans”. I laughed and then she started to laugh.
“I’m Sara,” she said holding out her hand.
“I’m Kate,” I said shaking her hand. She smiled and we
walked towards the school together.
“Is this your first time too?” I asked her. She nodded and we
pressed on. We started to chat all the way to the hall. The hall
was were the students had their lunch but all the new students
had to gather there for a tour and introduction to the school.
A teacher stood at the top of the hall. She was dressed in a
long green robe. She had light blue eyes but they were really
pronounced. She was an Elder vampire. Elder vampires are like
the kings and queens of vampires.
I walked over to a chair with Sara. The teacher was waiting
for everyone. There were about a hundred kids in the hall.
About five minutes later, another kid ran in and the doors closed
shut.
“Now that we are all here we can continue” the teacher said.
All the students looked up at her.
“This is a school for vampires and were-wolves and in this
school we will teach you how to use your abilities to your full
potential” she continued.
“I will be handing out your time tables now,” she said before
walking towards the students. It took a while for everyone to get
their time tables but I didn’t mind.
I had history first class today. Sara and me had the same
classes. We walked around the campus for awhile. Our first
class didn’t start for another hour. I couldn’t wait. I had waited
my whole second life for this moment.
The bell started to ring. Me and Sara smiled before walking
into the school.
