The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
The Lord
s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is inheaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Andlead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
The Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
The Apostles
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, wascrucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and isseated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holyCatholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. Webelieve in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us menand for our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary and
became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day Herose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will comeagain in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, thegiver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son He is worshipped and glorified. He hasspoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for theforgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
The Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,world without end.
Hail Holy Queen
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy; hail our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banishedchildren of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most graciousAdvocate, thy eyes of mercy toward us. And after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Oclement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
The Angelus
V. The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, etc.
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord,
R. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail Mary, etc.V. And the Word was made flesh,
R. And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary, etc.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ ThySon, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of HisResurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Regina Coeli
To be said standing during Eastertide instead of the Angelus
Queen of heaven, rejoice; alleluia.
For He whom you did merit to bear; alleluia,
Has risen, as He said; alleluia.
Pray for us to God; alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary; alleluia.
R. For the Lord has risen indeed; alleluia.Let us pray.
O God, who gave joy to the world through the Resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ; grant that we mayobtain, through His Virgin Mother, Mary, the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, imploredyour aid or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, myMother; to you I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petition, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Prayer to the Guardian Angel
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God
s love commits me here,
Ever this day be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
