Day Twelve Cue Sheet

Sigüenza– BrihuegaPROVISIONAL ROUTE(44km)

The route proposed on this sheet is, for the time being, provisional.

There is a LOT of truck traffic on theCM1101 between Sigüenza and the A2 motorway, and we’re currently looking at alternatives that won’t add lotsand lots of kilometres onto the day. The good thing about this day is that once you’re off the CM1101, there’s verylittle traffic on the CM2005, which has just enough of a decline to make the ride into Brihuega a breeze.



0.0From Sigüenza’s train station, take Avenida Alfonso VI all the way to the intersection



0.340Turn RIGHT onto Avenida Pío XII. This will climb steadily uphill and turns into the CM1101 as youpass the city limits.



0.500Sigüenza city limits. Keep going straight along the CM1101, past Mandayona in the HenaresValley, and up out of the valley.



22.8Just before you reach the intersection with the A2 highway, there’s a turnoff to the RIGHT whichtakes you onto the service road that runs parallel to the A2. Turn RIGHT.



24.4The service road goes down (watch for loose stones) and joins another onramp. If you want tostop for coffee or lunch, the 103 Service Station (straight ahead) has good food. If you want tocontinue, turn LEFT carefully onto the N204



25.3As you go south, you’ll see a large sculpture with bees and honeycombs on it, in the middle of aroundabout. Take the second right hand turn onto the CM2005.


