Manufacturing Process Contact Information

The Olyset Net production process beginswith a master batch of granules containingpermethrin (1). This technology, by whichthe insecticide is included in the polyethyl-ene, is the secret that makes Olyset unique.Proprietary formulation componentscontrol the rate at which permethrin isreleased, to ensure replenishment andmaintenance of a biologically effectivesurface dose for at least five years. Themaster batch is then melted and extrudedinto fibres (2, 3) which are subsequentlyknitted into rolls of net (4). These are thencut and sewn into the final product (5).Finally, nets are checked for qualityassurance (6). Stringent Japanese QualityAssurance procedures are applied through-out the entire process.
