A comment on my blog has led me to concede that there are a lot more quality books available for Rails than I gave credit for. This is a fairly recent development though, and it doesn't change the fact that the early Rails books, even when published by the likes of O'Reilly, were usually terrible. Maybe its indicative of developers, and hence writers, becoming more familiar with the 'Rails way of doing things'. But since Rails is still a 'hot space', expect more books to flood the market for some time to come.

There is a slightly misleading line which says ' the first five million page views are free'. What this should say is ' the first five million page views in a month are free'.
