Parable of the Talents
Print off the pictures below, color and cut them out. Then laminate them. Read Matthew 25:14-30 withyour child. While reading, lay out the pennies under each of the 3 pictures of the servants according tothe parable. Place the rocks over the penny of the servant that buried his talent in the ground and thenhave each one of the servants and their pennies report to Jesus. Talk about the meaning and importanceof this parable.
Print off the story puppets for the talent story below. Color each child, cut them out and laminatethem. You can either use them as finger puppets like they were made for or you can just cut out thepictures and use them as flannel board figures. Then names of the children from the story might beblurred from bad quality so starting on the left column going down.
