The Cane Toad is anintroduced pest. The rog amily (Family Anura)is an ancient group. They may beound as ossils as oldas 250 million years. This predates the dinosaurs. The region which includes South-East Queensland andNorth-East New South Wales has a greater varietyo rog species (more than 50) than any otherAustralian region o similar size.
