Solution
In this Hands-on Lab session, you’ll learn how to setup virtual network on VMware (you may also use any other virtual machines like MS VirtualPC, Linux Xen, or VirtualBox from Sun). In this lab session, we’ll concentrate on installing Alfresco on a clean install RHEL5 Server. You will learn how to install and configure Webmin to help with configuring DNS server. I’ll also show you how to setup static IP address which is required for deploying a DNS server. Finally, we’ll go through a step-by-step process to install Alfresco Community 3.3 Edition on our RHEL5 server. Next, you’ll learn how to integrate Google Docs™ with Alfresco to deploy documents for anywhere anytime access. You’ll also have opportunity to do some assignment at the end of the lab session. Upon completion of the hands-on lab you’ll have gained a competency level and a capability to be able to plan design implement and deploy ECM solution using Alfresco.
