Commission sets date to select nominees
The Nineteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission will meet Friday, July 16, 2010in Room 410 of the Weld County Courthouse to interview and select nominees for appointmentby the governor to the office of district judge for the Nineteenth Judicial District (Weld County).The vacancy will be created by the retirement of the Hon. Gilbert A. Gutierrez. The vacancywill occur on Aug. 22, 2010.To be eligible for appointment to fill the vacancy, the applicant must be a qualifiedelector of the Nineteenth Judicial District and must have been admitted to the practice of law inColorado for five years. The current annual salary for this position is $128,598.
