My name is Wenceslao Lacaze and I’ve been working as a SAP
basis Administrator and Solution Manager Consultant for the last 8
years.
I’m a Techno-Functional SAP Solution Manager Subject Matter
Expert (SME), I Design, Build and Implement the product using “Run
Sap” Methodology.
I have developed a very extended experience with medium and
large scaled SAP installations in several (multi)national
environments.

I am based in Argentina, but work all around the World.

I work directly for clients or via an agency.

For this Demo we use 1 Solution Manager and 1 IDES ERP.

Create the Test Documents

SOLAR02 – Configuration Phase
During the configuration phase, you need to identify all the Business process
related to the Project, in every Business process you put process step.
The test Cases and Test documentation related to the single step need to be
upload in the Test Cases TAB.

In the Test Cases Tab you have:

• Test Case Type
o CATT
o eCATT Test Configuration
o External Application
o Function Module Test

o Manual Test Case

o Test Document

• Logical component
• Test Case
• Variant
• Test Case Name
• Test Object
• Test Object Type

Another Important tips is identify well the OU and the Users in End User Roles Tab
.This is important because the test case are related to this users and OU.

Test Plan Management

You can run the transaction STWB_2 or in the Environment Menu  “Test
Organizer: Test Plan Management”

In the Test Plan Management you create the new test plant

You need to identify in for witch project is this test Plan.

Solution Manager select in automatic way all the Process step defined with test
document, show you all the administrative information related to this step
including Who is responsible and dates.

In General data Tab you can see al the information related for every single test
document in this step.

You generate the test plan

When you generate the test plan, solution manager ask you in witch package you
want to save all the test cases.

Then you have the Test Plan for the project.

Creating a Test Package

Now you need to create the test package, click over “test Package” and Solution
Manager show this windows

Click in New, select the test document that you want and click in Generate Button

Write the Test Package Title

Identify witch Package you want to use

Now you have your Test Plan with 1 Test Package

Assign Tester
You assign the Test clicking in “Assign Tester” button

Select your tester and OK

Now you have your test package assigned to the tester

The Tester start to work

When the tester logon to the system , run the transaction STWB_WORK and see his
Work list

Double Click over and you can open the Test Plan, from there you can run all the
test and when you end update the test status.

You click in the Semaphore

Changing the Status

Here you need to write the status of the test, how much time and effort and if have
restriction.

Creating Notes
You can create a test note pressing F5

You write the situation in the Test note and then Save.

Creating Message
In the Message Tab you can create Service Desk Message

Now in the Main window you have all the status information updated

If some user create a Test Message you control this in Message Overview.

Generate the Test Report

In the Main window you can generate the Test Report

This Document have all the information related to all the test conducted during this
implantation.

When you generate the Test Document the system ask to run the word Macro to
end the process.

Solution Manager open the word and show the macro windows

When you run the macro the system create a word document whit all the technical
information about the test.
