Who is the better athlete? The Philly or the Stud? Your observation that equestrian is the only sport in which males and females compete "on equal terms" is a strong statement about the genetic differences between men and women. In moving the human to horseback, we simply shift the differences between male and female to the equestrian species. Now we must question whether the male or female horse is the most competitive. See? Yep, yummy controversy!
