1. What are your reasons for running for office?
I am running for State House because I am sick and tired of wavinggoodbye to my generation -- your children and grandchildren. Wehave lost one family every 12 minutes. That’s unacceptable. Weneed a new generation of leaders in Lansing. Leaders who will address Michigan’s twenty-first century challenges with twenty-first century solutions

. What is your definition of limited government?
The term limited government in my opinion is more applicable at the federal level at least in a classical political science context. The federal government’s authority and jurisdiction is limited to the powers enumerated to it in the federal Constitution whereas stategovernment is not limited and may do anything unless prohibited by either the federal or state constitutions. In other words, theCongress is a limited-purpose legislative body while the Legislatureis a general-purpose legislative body.More broadly, it is the notion that government’s role in the libertiesor her citizens and the economy as a whole should be limited to theabsolute minimum.
