Changes
Weight Loss Surgery was just about the scariest thing I had ever thought about. But so was being overweightI never believed I could be so large. At 5’1” every ounce shows.I learned about the bariatric surgery from a friend whose daughter was going to have the surgery andeveryone at work was telling her not to let her do it. Her daughter did have the surgery and when we all sawthe weight loss I couldn’t help but start asking questions. Even after meeting my friend’s daughter for lunch(so I could see how she ate) and talking about the benefits of the surgery I was still scared but she told meabout Dr Gorospe’s seminars.I have lost the total of 130 lbs and every once in a while I act out by shaking my new bootie! I also gotto be a part of our yearly fashion show and what fun that was.Honestly my thanks go to our loving surgeon and his staff as they are the ones who stood by our sideduring this venture. Please let me remind you to return to our support group meetings as that is exactly what we are. Eachand every one of us will go through different trials on our journey and we are all here to encourageeach other along the way. Also join us in our outings if you can and make new and dear friends thatwill last a lifetime.God bless you all and good luck with the new you!
