C.A.R.S. Program Starts In Liberty
The first program from the 100Man Project, Community Assis-tance Ride Program (CO.A.I.S.),has begun and the program hashad its first rider on the first day of operation. A personfrom Liberty went to see a doctor in Asheboro on July1. I can imagine Jesus sporting the slightest of a satis-fied smile over the irony of our first opportunity toshow our Christian commitment.....here is a "stand up"type of guy (Don Shiver) driving a person who did noteven have the fee of $5.00 to Asheboro in a used vanpurchased by six persons (some of whom had to stretchtheir finances to make it work), organized by a group of local men some might classify as "characters of ques-tionable quality"......... In any event, Thru the grace of God, we passed our first step....write down the Dis-patcher's phone number...Terry Stutts, 1-336-588-4096....this program will work, if we are diligent in ourefforts....
