Old Testament Reveals (Part One): from Noah’s Ark to the Future Ark from God’sWrathGod had a plan from the creation of man to the end of the age and the OldTestament Noah’s Ark teaching reveals the New Testament evacuation plan for allborn again Christians. In Luke 4:4 “It is written, That man shall not live by breadalone, but by every word of God”.
It is extremely important to understand that the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Bible are married together and support one another in an incredible way. To fullyunderstand the teachings of the Lord God Jesus Christ; students of God’s Word must takeinto account the teachings of the Old Testament, so to understand the teachings of theNew Testament as a whole. There is absolutely no doubt that we who are living today are in fact living in the LastDays that the Word of God teaches us in Bible Prophecy. The Last Day propheciesclearly outlines the coming world events in striking and horrific detail; and serve as botha warning to a world filled with unrepentant sinners whom have rejected the saving graceof Jesus Christ; and serves as a time of preparedness to the repentanted sinners whomhave accepted the saving Grace of the Lord God Jesus Christ. The Lord God does not change his ways as we who are in the world change our ways.God’s Word does not change over time, but actually reveals the truth of his nature andplans with one-hundred percent accuracy: one-hundred percent of the time. The Noah’sArk teaching in the Old Testament gives all born-again Christians insight to God’sevacuation plan as taught in the New Testament; to keep his children from His Wrath tocome in the Last Days.As it has already been stated “God does not change over time” and “the Old Testamentand the New Testament are married to one another”, and then from here we can learnhow God has planned his evacuation plan for us before the world experiences the Wrathof God on the Earth. In the days of Noah the earth was filled with wickedness and violence,
“But Noah foundgrace in the eyes of the Lord” Genesis 6:8
. The Lord God warned Noah that He (God)was going to send a flood to destroy all living things that had the breath of life in theirnostrils from the face of the Earth. Since Noah had found grace in God’s sight; Godinstructed Noah to build an Ark out of gopher wood and enter into the ark; he and hisfamily and two of every kind of animal that has the breath of life in their nostrils to enterinto the ark. The ark that God commanded Noah to build was the first evacuation planthat God used to save his people from his wrath. The Old Testament in the Book of Genesis tells the complete story of Noah and the Ark,however the focus of this teaching is focused on only a few specific details, so toillustrate the future evacuation plan that God has clearly taught us in the New Testamentbefore his coming wrath of the Last Days.

To learn the complete teaching of Noah’s Ark, then turn in your Bible to Genesis 6 andcontinue reading through Genesis 8.From this point on-ward, let’s take a look at what the Word of God teaches about God’ssalvation evacuation plan in Noah’s days and forward to God’s salvation evacuation planbefore He sends his wrath upon the world in the Last Days.
How did God describe the days of Noah before He sent a flood to destroy all livingthings from off the face of the whole Earth?
Genesis 6:5 “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and thatevery imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”Genesis 6:11-13 “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled withviolence. And God looked upon the earth and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh hadcorrupted his way upon the earth. And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh is comebefore me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroythem with the earth.”
Who did God specifically say He was saving from the day of his wrath; in Noah’sdays?
Genesis 6:8-10 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generationsof Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.”Genesis 6:18-20 “But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into theark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee. And of every livingthing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive withthee; they shall be male and female. Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after theirkind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come untothee, to keep them alive.”God specifically instructed Noah to bring into the ark with him only the things thatwalked, flew or creped on the face of the earth; and no instruction was giving to Noah totake onboard the ark of anything that swam or moved within the oceans, streams, seas, lakes, rivers, or waters. The flood was being sent to destroy those things that moved andlived upon dry land; the earth.
Did God send Noah an Ark that God built himself or did God instruct Noah how tobuild an Ark that He (God) would use to save all who had entered into the ark?
Genesis 6:14-16 “Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark,and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shaltmake it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty

cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in acubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.”Note: According to the Strong’s Concordance, a cubit is defined in the matter of modernmeasurements as one cubit = 1.5 feet. Only in the Book of Ezekiel is the measurement of a cubit different, because the measurement also includes a hand breadth and a handbreadth is identified in the Strong’s Concordance as one hand breadth = 3 inches. In theBook of Ezekiel the measurements being used is a cubit (1.5 feet) plus a hand breadth (3inches) thus equaling 1.8 feet a cubit and a hand breadth. The ark which God had instructed Noah to make was sent by God and built by Noah; andused by God to save Noah and all those that God allowed Noah to board the ark. Noah’sArk was the first ark of salvation that God sent and used to save his people from hiswrath; and as we first learn in the Old Testament Book of Isaiah 7:14, and then in theNew Testament Book of Matthew 1:23; God planned and did send an everlasting ark of salvation that no man had a hand in building, but God himself began the work andfinished it, so that no man can boast. This ark is an everlasting plan for salvation and from the future Wrath of God in the LastDays. To enter this Ark of God, a person only need to believe that this Ark had come tosave them from a sea of sin that the person has committed and was drowning in; and ask the Captain of the Ark to forgive him or her, so that the person can receive the Captain’sforgiveness and grace into their heart to live in them forever. At this point and time, theperson receives an everlasting boarding pass into the Ark of God and will forever live alife eternity in God’s Kingdom. The Boarding Pass is free to receive and all that is needed; is Faith (to Believe) in the Ark of Salvation that God has sent to forgive us our sins and to save us out of a world filledwith sin; and from a world that is appointed to receive the full cup of God’s Wrath in theLast Days. The Captain is God the Father JEHOVAH (translated “the Lord”). The Ark is the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Boarding Pass is the Holy Spirit of God; the Spirit of Christ; the Breath of the Almighty; the Spirit of Life; Eternal Spirit; Spirit of God. Theseare all names and titles for the Holy Spirit as proclaimed and declared in the HolyScriptures. This concludes the first part of this multiple part lesson on the “
Old Testament Reveals:from Noah’s Ark to the Future Ark from God’s Wrath
”.In the next issue of this lesson, we will specifically learn how God used the OldTestament prophets to reveal his future plan; to send us a savior and whom will be theArk of Salvation from the future Wrath of God. We’ll explore God’s teachings in his ownWord as to how the Old and the New Testaments are worked together to illustrate God’sfuture plan for us and the entire world.
