On July 7th 2010 I was a guest presenter at North Carolina State University's FREEDM Systems Center. I gave the presentation "Engineering, Electricity, and Edison" that focused on Innovation vs. Invention, the history of Edison and the development of the Light Bulb, a Demonstration of "Reinventing Edison: Build your own Light Bulb" and connected all of these ideas to the future Smart Grid. This is a copy of the presentation slides I used during the presentation. (more info can be found at our blog)
