What a great delight to have Gerard and Heather with us
for a few days. Not only do we pray for the Rayside
family, we support them financially as part of our
mission giving. And, as we are aware, two groups from
our fellowship have visited Gerard and Heather on site in Vietnam.
call us to serve Him anywhere in this big world of His. The presence of the Drennan family with us is a constant reminder of this reality. And the Rayside family serving Jesus in Vietnam is another as is Kelly in
one. When serving in PNG years ago with Wycliffe, we were very
impressed by some colleagues who were grandparents with families on
the other side of the world. For them, there was nothing too surprising
about being mission personnel - retirement was an irrelevant and
pointless concept.
opening up to you for the future. Jesus has this bad habit of disturbing us, of being open to new ways and days. Take a long look at Peter, the big fisherman, who left his nets and ended up a great leader in a brand new church– no way he could have cooked that up himself!
