Create masts: Apply glue along the longedge of the unprinted side of the paperof one mast (opposite the pattern, notthe edge with the fold lines).Glue tabs to the inside of one side ofship. Repeat with other side of ship.Note: Begin gluing at front of ship andensure pieces align as you go.Glue white tabs on support panel 1 to thesides of the ship anywhere in the frontthird of the ship. Next, glue tabs onsupport panel 2 to sides of ship center.Lastly, glue tabs on support panel 3 tosides of the rear third of the ship.

Ship bottom: Fold side tabs inward ondotted lines. With printed side facingdown, pull back piece straight up.

• Metal-edged ruler (optional)• Butter knife• Scissors or X-ACTO knife• Cutting mat (optional)• Multipurpose glue

Once you have glued the fronts and backs
together and made cut marks, fold whitesupport panel tabs back on each supportpanel.

Fold and roll together 3-4 times alongthe fold lines at the left side. This foldedsection will give you something to tightly
wrap the rest of the mast around.
