Forest Footprint Disclosureis a special project of the Global CanopyFoundation. Initiated in 2008 the project is designed to improve corporateunderstanding of a ‘forest footprint’ generated by the use of forest riskcommodities: soy,palm oil, timber,cattle products and biofuels. FFDdesigned a disclosurerequest asking about company policy on sustainablesupply chains for these products and sent it out to 217 internationalcompanies in July 2009.
