Trojan Vundo
A quick and easy solution to fix Trojan Vundo in just afew steps.
Trojan Vundo
is a extremelydangerous Trojan virus and youwant to make sure your pc nevergets it, and if your pc is infectedwith Trojan Vundo, this articlewill help you remove it quickly& easily.
Trojan Vundo
was discovered on a friend of minesdesktop after running the popular Windows Defenderprogram, a free spyware and Vundo removal tool (itdetected Trojan vundo, but wouldn't remove it).How the desktop got infected with this ungly virus I'mnot sure, but I spent hours researching and looking forany information I could find about Trojan Vundo andended up with nothing. Actually, there's tons and tonsof useless articles and content out there on how to fixthe issue, but none one of them worked for me and yourprobably in the same situation as well.!
Trojan Vundo
Trojan Vundo is rumored to have been first reported inMay of 2004 to Panda Antivirus which surprised me.It's May of 2006 and I have the latest antivirus andspyware detection installed on the desktop and still, itgot infected with the virus. This virus is reported to record your keystrokes andrandomly shows unwanted popup advertisements. This
Vundo
Trojan will create a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) to organize the recording of your keystrokesand communicates with another computer located on

the internet, with your information. (Hacking your pc &provate information)Trojan Vundo attaches to explorer.exe, goes memoryresident and verifies that it's running (the virus that is).If for some reason Vundo is stopped, the memoryresident program will fire it back up.The virus also writes to cookies on the infectedcomputer and may visit more than one internet site. Thepart that makes Trojan Vundo tricky is that it's amemory resident and writes to a file that spywareremoval programs can't erase.
Trojan Vundo Removal
I tried a number of programs, including HijackThis,Trend's online virus scanner, Panda Software's onlinevirus scanner, Symantec's FixVundo.exe and manualinstructions and nothing worked! I thought I had itwhen I ran SpyBot Search and Destroy's software, but itonly discovered 4 occurrences of the Vundo whenactually there were 6.Out of all the programs, only Adware Alerts spyware &adware detector and destroyer was able to detect all theinfected files! The online virus scan site is located at:Adware Alertand is a new free services designed tohelp you detect and keep your computer clean. It's verycool, speeds up your pc and is worth checking out!Having a full list of objects infected with trojan Vundo,I compared them to the ones discovered by the otherantispyware packages and was left with two. Those twoinfected objects pointed toc:\windows\help\mui\accas.dllI should note here that Microsoft's Windows Defenderwas unable to remove the files or detect all infectedfiles.
