Matter and energy are convertible into one another.

This is well established by atomic weapons and atomic power plants, and is, in fact, a superabundant process in the universe (consider all of the stars). Quantitatively, the pertinent equation is Energy equals Mass times (the Speed of Light Squared), that is E=MC2. One can truly say that matter and energy are two forms of the same thing. Therefore, I propose naming that thing which both matter and energy are forms of --MATERGY. This term, matergy, is very useful for thinking and talking about the universe in a true way.
