“Let’s press on in faith!”
Good news from Brian and Katrina!

As most of us are aware, Brian and Katrina stopped by in
Portland on their way to Kununurra to take up brand
new service with HCJB. They have a special soft spot for

us as Adrian’s adopted church family. Here are some
highlights from their recent prayer letter….
We setup camp just past Ceduna and were invaded by a plague of
mice. They chattered and climbed around the car and camper all
night. We didn’t get much sleep.

We arrived here after 3 more days on the road, a total of about
6000km. The volunteers here all are wonderful people. They all
knew us because they have been praying for us but we had to learn
24 new names and put the couples together.

Sundays we meet at the local Baptist Church. We are receiving some
great teaching and fellowship.
There is never a dull moment. The day starts at 6.00am and ends at
4.00pm with a 2 hour siesta at noon.
Katrina has also been trying to get her head around the Office
Administration tasks; computer lessons, typing letters, invoices
answering phone calls etc. It may take a while, trying to ‘teach an
old dog new tricks’.
Brian’s tasks are many and varied. Fixing machinery, learning how

to grow and harvest bananas, (a little different to growing onions
and carrots), getting hay in, maintenance of other farm vehicles and
machinery, fabricating tower footings and guy wire anchors and
attachments in readiness for the towers to be erected, just to name
a few.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support. Knowing that we
have support partners is very important to us. If you would like to
support us or the Mission financially, or receive the mission
newsletter and prayer letter, please contact us 08 9166 9048 (home)

Let’s keep Brian and Katrina in our prayers!
